I’ve never been a Matt Cooke fan.
I have been critical of him, and don’t respect much of his game.
But, I have to give credit where credit is due.
Cooke was being interviewed – after game 7 – and said that it was a moment that his family would never forget, and that he wanted to thank both “Mike” Therrien and Dan Bylsma for letting him play.
As Red Fisher pointed out, Cooke was the only Penguin to thank the Pens’ former coach.
It shows that Matt Cooke has some class.
