I once boarded with a Polish family in Terrace, B.C. at the time when Polish jokes were making the rounds.

I made only one Polish joke, and then Irish jokes became the rage in our house.

After a short while I was pissed off, so understand what Leafs’ fans must feel like.

But good humour is good humour.

And I would speculate that the last time the Walker House changed the lines  – on their beer kegs – was when Punch Imlach was putting Dave Keon and Bob Pulford out on the ice to kill a penalty.

Bring back those Poles. I’m ready for them….
