Not that much has been written about the young Swede, but everyone agrees that he’s highly skilled.

He is a Dave Gagner prospect. Rodin  will have to work on his diet and weight training, etc. to make it to the Big Tent.

One of the things that this draft has shown to me, is how much confidence Mike Gillis has in Gagner’s nurturing of the young ‘nuck prospects.

Rödin’s offensive game stands out thanks to his superb skating,” wrote Hockey’s Future, “his shot, hockey sense and puck handling. Usually scores quite spectacular goals and does not shy away from playing physical. Could use some more strength though. He has the offensive arsenal to be a productive player in the future, but has also the fundamental skills to be used as a role- and checkling line player.”
